Coins on an accepted offer stay held until both sides confirm, or until operations resolves a case.

Before you need a case

Communities ask for a phone and an address before trading. Meet points in the app are public places — parks, libraries, and trailheads. Rank on the marketplace follows distance and freshness.

If both of you agree to stop before the exchange is done, confirm the cancel in the trade. The held coins return. That does not open a case.

Report an issue

From the trade, the appointment, or the chat, choose Report an issue and a reason. The thread stays attached. Both members see the case on trade history. The coins do not move while the case is open.

How a case closes

Operations staff read the order, the post or service, the chat, both profiles, and the event list. They resolve once:

They can also hide a post, or close the case with a note you can read in the app. You see the outcome on the trade. Staff do this from the operations center; onboarding does not resolve shopping issues.
