Offers and bookings

Negotiation stays in Trade Chat. A service uses the same coins, with a time slot instead of a pickup.

Make an offer

Open the post and choose Make an Offer. You write the offer in Trade Chat. Offer coins. When the post is open for exchange, you can offer goods or a service plus a coin difference.

Inbox is offers you received. Outbox is offers you sent. When both sides accept, the offer becomes the trade and the coins move to hold.

Clubbing

If the seller turned on Can be clubbed, their other posts can join one offer. That is still one conversation, one acceptance, and one coin hold. A missing clubbed item is one case, not a separate trade.

Book a service

Lessons, lawn care, and similar posts show open slots. Open Service Booking reserves a slot and holds the coin price the same way a product offer does.

Meet the slot. Both sides confirm when the service is done, and the held coins release.

How a trade moves

  1. Listed. The post is on the marketplace with a coin price.
  2. Offered. A neighbor sends an offer in chat. Coins are still available.
  3. Accepted. Both sides agree. Coins are held.
  4. Completed. Both confirm. Coins release to the provider.
  5. Cancelled. Both agree to stop before completion. Coins return.
  6. Disputed. Someone reports an issue. Coins stay held. See Protection.

Posts hide from the marketplace after their expiry. An open trade on that post still finishes in chat.
